Halesworth

Halesworth is a historic market town located in the north east of the Waveney Valley, standing on a small tributary of the River Blyth and has a population of around 6000.

The town is primarily centered around a pedestrianised high street; the north end is home to the Halesworth library, the Hawk and the New Cuts Arts center is a short walk away and the south end has beautiful old buildings  in and around the Marketplace such as St Marys church, mixed with some attractive new properties a short distance away.

Halesworth train station is not far from the town centre with links to Ipswich, Lowestoft and through to London Liverpool street and buses connect to nearby towns such as Beccles, Lowestoft and to Norwich.
